"Occasionally, someone will look out their window and see us as we're finishing up, but for the most part, we're in and out so quickly and quietly they don't even know we've been there." Hunt estimates that it takes a total of twelve minutes to set up a display. "Well maybe a little longer, if they have pets outside," he says with a laugh.

The company has ready-made displays for birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, newborn announcements, graduations, engagements, and weddings. They can also custom-make displays to suit any occasion.

A variety of packages are available with most including a banner, a personalized sign, a large double sided cartoon display, 30 smaller cartoon critters, and a halogen floodlight for night-time lighting.

"We really do the lawn up nicely," says Hunt. Although Birthday Lawn Cards has only been in operation for a relatively short time, Hunt says the response has been positive.
